Global Health Media Project "bringing to life" critical newborn health care information
¿Me acompañaría?

When Goldy Mazia (Technical Advisor for Newborn Health, MCHIP-PATH) and Deb Van Dyke, (Global Health Media Project Director), asked if I was willing to do the Spanish voice-over of a group of Newborn health videos “with information for providers and populations in low-resource settings”, I said yes.
Writing this blog after an intense week of visits to neonatal wards in the Dominican Republic, I am inviting you to watch and share with others these wonderful videos that present valuable information on: Basic Skills, Newborn Physical Exam, Inserting a Gastric Tube, Feeding with a Gastric Tube, Inserting an IV, Setting Up an IV Line, Taking a Heel Blood Sample, Breathing Problems, Umbilical Infections and Referring a Sick Baby
Hopefully, if you care for babies, the teachings from these videos will also inspire you and as in the old bolero you will be ready to "join your voice to my voice to say: we succeeded" in improving the quality of newborn care and neonatal survival. Will you join me?
