Family Care International (FCI) is dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safer around the world. Founded in 1987, FCI is a leading advocate, at the global, national, and community levels, for political commitment and financial investment to improve maternal and newborn health. With field offices in Africa and Latin America, FCI also works to strengthen reproductive, maternal and newborn health programs, and creates tools that educate young people, train health workers, and empower advocates in over 100 countries.
