Summary

 While the burden of neonatal mortality and morbidity is high, effective interventions exist that can be implemented even in settings with limited resources. In order to decrease mortality and morbidity of newborns in Vietnam, the government of Vietnam has decided to improve the coverage of required neonatal interventions. This paper was developed to introduce prioritized interventions which are relevant to newborn care in Vietnam.
