State of India’s Newborns 2014: A journey of progress in newborn health

Newborn health has captured the attention of policy makers at the highest level in India. This supplement focusses on the trends and the status of newborn health in the country, in particular over the last decade. It highlights existing evidence, implementation status of programmes, innovations and best practices, and an analysis of health system and policies from newborn care perspective.
