World Prematurity Day 2014 Summary

The 4th annual World Prematurity Day was held on 17 November 2014, highlighting the global movement about the serious problem of preterm birth around the world. This year, more than 200 countries, non-government organisations, UN agencies, medical and health organisations participated in activities, with more than 70 countries hosting special events that focused on prematurity and premature babies. The media coverage alone reached almost 2 billion people worldwide.
