Priority audiences for workshop participants
- Individuals working at NGOs that are operating in Kenya; government, UN representatives, and national midwifery associations are also encouraged to apply.
- Currently work in health programming (e.g., health program manager, clinic supervisor, technical advisor, healthcare staff).
- Current or future role in planning, managing, and/or maternal, newborn, sexual, reproductive health program readiness and response to major disease outbreaks.
- Experience working in humanitarian and public health response.
- Demonstrated commitment to ensuring SRMNH services are maintained and considered in an infectious disease response
Mandatory criteria
Please note that successful applications will need to confirm:
- Ability to commit to the four-day in-person training sessions
- Ability to participate in written and spoken English
- READY is welcoming applications from individuals operating in Kenya only.
Is there a cost for this training?
While there is no training fee, selected individuals will need to commit to attending the full four-day in- person training to participate. READY will support breakfast, tea breaks, and lunch for all four days of the training. READY has limited funding available to support travel costs for local/national organizations and lodging for those traveling from outside of Nairobi. This funding will be considered on an as-needed basis and requests for support can be made on the application form.
