Rakesh Parashar

I am a physician and public health professional working for improving health outcomes of mothers and children in India. My core focus of work has been around strengthening health systems to respond persisting and emerging needs of health of mothers and newborn, specially stillbirths and newborn deaths. Currently, I am associated with USAID - Vriddhi (Scaling Up RMNCHA) interventions project, in India. My key interest areas for research and action are building high quality health systems, addressing inequities in mother and newborn health and innovative and feasible implementation models in health service delivery.
