Erica Corbett

Erica Corbett is a midwife, reproductive health educator, and international clinical research consultant in maternal, neonatal and child health. She is a passionate advocate for using evidence to improve access to high-quality care for women and newborns and has two decades of experience in sub-Saharan Africa. Erica has provided technical analysis and writing support to project teams with Save the Children, MCSP, MSH, CAPT, and the Muskoka Initiative in Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She obtained her Masters in Epidemiology and Community Health from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2010, and was awarded her midwifery certification through the North American Registry of Midwives in 2018. She has worked as a midwife in South Africa, Rwanda and the United States. Erica is currently based in Canada.
