Lily Kak

Lily Kak is a Senior Maternal and Newborn Health Advisor at USAID’s Bureau for Global Health. She has a PhD in Anthropology and has worked in the field of public health and international development for 20 year. She has been with USAID for 10 years, providing support to USAID Missions in Asian and African countries to develop and evaluate their health program strategies. As the focal person for USAID’s newborn health program, Dr. Kak has provided leadership and guidance to USAID’s newborn programs worldwide. She is on the management team of USAID’s five-year, $600 million global Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program. Prior to USAID, Dr. Kak worked at Abt Associates and CEDPA.
