Maria Tsolka, a public health nurse is a Senior Specialist for Emergency Reproductive Health with Save the Children. Maria has been working with various INGOs managing emergency health programs for over 9 years in countries like Iran, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Haiti, DRC and most recently Philippines. She has been involved in implementation of programs in both conflict and natural disaster contexts. In 2011 she joined the Emergency Health and Nutrition team at Save the Children. Currently her focus is on family planning, post-abortion care issues and Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care at emergency settings.
