Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Deputy Director, Implementation and Partnership, SNL, Save the Children in Bangladesh Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam joined the government health services in 1979. He served as Deputy Program Manager for National HIV/AIDS program, Maternal Health Voucher Scheme, Emergency Obstetric Care & Skilled Birth Attendant training program. He was the Program Manager, Making Pregnancy Safer, DGHS, MOHFW from 2004 to 2009. In 2010 he retired from the government service and then worked with UNICEF, WHO, Embassy of Kingdom of Netherlands, Dhaka, JICA and World Bank and MCHIP/Save the Children as consultant. In 2012, he worked with the Independent Review Team as National Consultant of World Bank for Annual program review (APR) of National Health & Population Sector Development Program (HPNSDP) of the MOH&FW. He holds MBBS degree and Masters Degree in Public Health. Dr Islam joined with the SNL team on 3 April 2013.
