Rajiv Tandon

Dr. Rajiv Tandon is a Senior Advisor for Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition for Save the Children. Dr Tandon has significant experience in supporting Government of India systems and programmes, such as the Reproductive and Child Health Programme of the MHFW, the National Rural Health Mission and the ICDS Program of MWCD. He earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pediatrics, from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur University, India, where he received university gold and silver medals. Dr Tandon served as Chair and was an International Board Member of "Rotarians Fighting against AIDS" and National Coordinator of the HIV/AIDS Control Program for the Indian Medical Association. He received a Red and White Gold Medal for social acts of courage in the HIV/AIDS arena and a Best Citizen Award from the Government of Delhi for his HIV/AIDS prevention and care activities.
