Shirine Voller

Shirine joined LSHTM in August 2011 as Project Manager for the five-year, $15m Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded IDEAS project. IDEAS (Informed Decisions for Actions) aims to improve the evidence base for maternal and newborn health in Ethiopia, North-Eastern Nigeria and the state of Uttar Pradesh in India, ultimately to improve the survival of mothers and babies in these areas.  Previously, Shirine held positions at Ashridge Business School as Associate Director of the Centre for Research in Executive Development, Research Manager and as a Consultant with Ashridge Consulting Ltd. She has also worked for Natural England as Grants Officer for the Big Lottery Funded Wildspace! project, supporting Local Nature Reserves in deprived urban and rural areas of England.
