Yunis Mussema Abdella

Dr Yunis is a Medical Doctor and has Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from Jimma University in Ethiopia, where he was an assistant professor of Epidemiology. Before joining USAID, Dr Yunis worked for 6 years in Save the Children in Ethiopia in Maternal, Newborn and Child Health programs with various capacities spanning from technical advisor to program management. He also worked in the USAID flagship HIV/AIDS key population program in capacity building for private health facilities and Local NGOs. He has worked in Monitoring and Evaluation areas with CDC funded University of Washington (ITECH) and Columbia University (ICAP) projects in Ethiopia. He has worked consulting work with various UN agencies in designing Project planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation modular training for federal and regional planners as well as conducting national researches and evaluations. Currently Dr Yunis Serve as the Child Health Adviser for USAID Ethiopia
