Sister Agnes Kasaigi is a midwife in Uganda’s Jinja District. She delivers not only babies, but also comprehensive reproductive health care, including family planning, counselling and services that prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV. She trains colleagues on life-saving interventions that reduce maternal and newborn deaths and prevent stillbirths.
