This short documentary serves a stark reminder about the staggering neonatal mortality rate which accounts for 55 deaths in every 1000 live births occurring in Pakistan. The more alarming is the fact that for the past 5 years the horrid neonatal mortality rate remains the same. Every reference, statistic and footage in this documentary depicts the anguish of 55 mothers ( out of 1000 live births) have to suffer when their newborns couldn’t survive the first 28 days of their life and that too because of preventable children diseases which can be avoided by doing very simple things or for that matter by making right but crucial decisions right on time.
