The Prevention and Attention to Prematurity Bulletin highlights the national week of prematurity which took place between November 17th and 23rd, 2013 and the events which took place during that period in El Salvador. These included a Prevention and Attention to Prematurity Forum in San Salvador and San Miguel and a gathering of children who were born prematurely and their families hosted by the Family Association of Premature Boys and Girls. A sensitization training for NGO workers about preventing and responding to preterm birth was conducted, and Save the Children organized an adult and child run for newborn survival.
