Ethiopia has made encouraging progress for women’s and children’s health. However, major barriers to utilization of maternal, newborn, and child health services prevent continued progress, particularly for newborn health. In response to these challenges, Save the Children in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health and other partners have developed a Demand Creation Strategy for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, now being applied in 4 regions in 21 zones.
