Evidence-based studies have shown the effectiveness of Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) in reducing neonatal mortality and morbidity among low birth weight and premature infants. This tool was developed to support healthcare facility teams to conduct different types of KMC assessments. The tool is flexible and can be further adapted for specific needs.
