Save the Children, in the context of the Saving Newborn Lives initiative, and with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is implementing a program aimed at catalyzing institutional and technical capacity in terms of good practices and attitudes towards the health of new-born babies in the districts of Angoche, Mogincual and Monapo, Nampula province. To establish baseline indicators of antenatal care, childbirth and postpartum practices, a survey was conducted in the aforementioned three districts in July targeting women who had a live birth or were pregnant in the 12 months preceding the survey.
