In order to support the Ethiopian government’s efforts to scale up Community Based Newborn Care and reduce newborn deaths, Save the Children in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health and other partners developed a Demand Creation Strategy for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health. This video showcases the learning of the demand creation strategy approach, now being applied in 4 regions in 21 zones and demonstrates that the community empowerment is feasible and effective method to improve care seeking behavior of communities for newborn health.
