The Global plan towards elimination of new HIV infections among children by 2015 and keeping mothers alive provides the foundation for a country-led movement towards the elimination of new HIV infections among children and keeping their mothers alive. The global plan is based on the 2011 High Level Meeting resolution by 2015, children everywhere can be born free of HIV and their mothers remain alive.
