Abimbola Williams

Dr Abimbola Williams is a public health physician with extensive experience in programme management, primary health care including maternal newborn and child health and family planning, HIV/AIDS and health sector development. She has worked with government at all levels, BASICS/ USAID, with UNICEF at the regional office in Kenya, as well as PATHS/DFID in Nigeria. She has co-authored and contributed to the development of several important publications. She is currently the Newborn and Child Survival Adviser with Save the Children Nigeria, providing technical support and advocating improved policy environment to for integration and scale up of newborn care, particularly in the Northern Nigeria, as part of a large DFID programme, PRRINN/MNCH (Programme for Reviving Routine Immunization and Maternal, Newborn and Child Health).
