Findings from a study in Bangladesh show that prenatal lipid-based nutrient supplements (LNS) can improve birth outcomes in Bangladeshi women, especially those at higher risk of fetal growth restriction. Supplementation during pregnancy reduced newborn stunting, low BMI, and small head size in the study population.
