This Learning and Sharing Café will provide an opportunity to reflect on how different sectors can ‘share the responsibility of protecting, promoting, and supporting infant and young child feeding during emergencies.

The webinar will present the IYCF Framework: A Multi-sector Framework for Action, and  highlight some experiences of implementation including from Uganda and Ethiopia. As always there will be plenty of opportunities for participants to engage in the conversation and ask questions of presenters.

The Café will be lead in English with simultaneous interpretation in French, Spanish, and Arabic.

Since 2014, UNHCR and Save the Children have partnered to create the “IYCF Framework: A Multi-sector Framework for Action” to support actors in refugee responses to design feasible, locally-led actions that integrate IYCF-E interventions and prioritize the needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 2 across all sectors.  The webinar will present the latest tools and experiences of implementing this multi-sector framework for action.
