IAWG, the International Rescue Committee, and Vitala Global Foundation invite you to join an exciting event on Tuesday, August 24th from 12:00-14:30 GMT/8:00-10:30 EST entitled: Self-Care Everywhere: Innovative Approaches to Achieving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Humanitarian and Fragile Settings, part of the Self Care Trailblazers and White Ribbon Alliance Self-Care Learning and Discovery Series.
Self-Care Everywhere will examine promising strategies for increasing access to sexual and reproductive health including maternal and newborn health through self-care in humanitarian settings. The event will feature a moderated panel of experts in sexual and reproductive health in humanitarian response, breakout discussions during which we will delve into the complexities of self-care across the humanitarian-development nexus, and interactive virtual posters that will be available ahead of, during and after the event to showcase innovative ways in which self-care approaches are being applied in humanitarian settings.
We are also seeking submissions for virtual posters on self-care in humanitarian settings that will be showcased as part of the event. We encourage poster submission by August 13th, 2021. Review the submission criteria, details for submission and poster template.
