On Wednesday, October 19th, the Care of the Small and Sick Newborn CoP will host a webinar in partnership with March of Dimes. This session will provide a brief overview of the upcoming International Conference on Birth Defects and Disabilities in the Developing World, explore the burden of birth defects and disabilities with a focus on prevalence in the Americas. We will then finish the webinar with perspectives from WHO on how to improve newborn screening and management of babies with birth defects in LMICs. Opportunity for discussion and questions and answers will follow the presentations.
