With more than 14 years experience in Pan African child rights and public health policy and advocacy interventions, Wandabwa joined Save the Children as the Africa Advocacy Director in January 2012. Before joining Save the Children, Wandabwa led a successful regional campaign on elimination of pediatric HIV&AIDS in six countries: Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Mozambique, Nigeria and Tanzania through the Campaign to End Pediatric HIV&AIDS. Previously Franco worked with World Vision Uganda, the World Vision Africa Regional office, Regional Centre for Quality of Health Care and most recently Planned Parenthood Global based in Nairobi as Associate Regional Director for Advocacy. Franco is Save the Children’s main point of contact with the African Union Commission.
