Santorino Data

Santorino Data is the Uganda Country manager for the consortium for Affordable Medical Technologies (CAMTech). He is a lecturer of Pediatrics at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and helped in the creation of an innovation ecosystem at MUST that has resulted in the Universities first filled patents on which he is a prime inventor. Dr. Data is a master trainer of Helping Babies Breathe, Essential Care for Every Baby, and has helped review the Essential Care for Small Babies training program developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics.  He has helped train frontline health workers in newborn care in Uganda and Ethiopia for several organizations including Save the Children International, Laerdal Foundation, MCHIP, American Academy of Pediatrics and JHPIEGO.
