HRH Sarah Zeid

Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah Zeid of Jordan is a maternal and newborn health advocate. Princess Sarah is a Steering Committee member of the Every Newborn Action Plan, and partners with PATH to promote the recommendations of the UN Commission on Life Saving Commodities for Women, Newborns and Children. In addition, she is a global champion for the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood, and an advisory board member for the Women's Rights Division at Human Rights Watch. Princess Sarah is a former UN staff member. She worked in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and was the Desk Officer for Iraq in UNICEF's Office of Emergency Programmes.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Princess Sarah is married to HRH Prince Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein. They have three children.
