Dr. Uzma Syed, MBBS, MPH, MSc (Epidemiology) Newborn Health Advisor, Department of Global Health, Save the Children Dr. Uzma Syed, has extensive experience in public health program and research design, health system strengthening, advocacy and strategic partnerships. Uzma is engaged in global newborn health programs for the past 15 years and has been working internationally in various capacities for advancing sustainable newborn health programming at scale. Her efforts have contributed in generating national commitment to advance proven interventions for saving newborn lives in many countries. She also serves as the technical lead for urban maternal and newborn health.
