Elaine Roman

Ms. Roman works closely with the President’s Malaria Initiative Team, Roll Back Malaria partners, and MCHIP country teams to help accelerate malaria prevention and control on the platform of maternal and child health. Raised in Maryland, Ms. Roman received an MPH from Tulane University. She has worked extensively in Africa and Turkey planning, implementing, and managing global and country health programs in the areas of reproductive health and family planning in pregnancy. Mr. Roman has lived and worked in Ethiopia, Somalia, Turkey and Kenya, as well as the United States.
