  1. This is very good to see that ‘Bangladesh National Newborn Health Situation Analysis Report 2014 has been included in the resource section. I take pride for being a member of core writing team while I was a team member of Saving Newborn Lives Program of Save the Children in Bangladesh. My major contributions in this document are in the chapters of Introduction and Methodology, Newborn Health Service Delivery, Evidence-based Newborn Interventions, National Newborn Health Programs and Initiatives, Road map for Improving Newborn Survival including drafting of all messages, forward and Executive Summary. I think this is a comprehensive document and first in its kind to document both community and facility based newborn health interventions till the date of publication. However, newborn health has progressed a lot since then and a lot more to be done in Bangladesh to bend the curve further to improve newborn survival in the country.
